MEET OUR FAMILY

Our family has always consisted of animal-lovers. Over the years, we've had a number of farm animals and domesticated pets such as cats, hamsters, birds, etc. From personal experience, being raised with animals really teaches a child about responsibility and personal growth. We wanted that for our kids.

After moving into our new house in the countryside, we decided it was the right time to get a protection dog. We went straight to the pound to rescue a German Shepherd. While I'm sure there are many great rescue pets out there, we, unfortunately, encountered several negative incidents with our dog. Even after doing training with her, it still didn't work out. We tried with other rescue dogs and had similar issues: incessant barking, jumping the fence, digging holes everywhere, separation anxiety, fearful, reactive, etc. It was time to make a change.

After researching dozens of breeders, we decided to buy a puppy from a breeder who had a titled European Import litter.  Wow! Temperament was night and day! Our puppy was well behaved, training was way easier, and our German Shepherd was gorgeous. That little puppy had us so excited to be part of the show world. We ended up working with the breeder to take our girl to the Nationals in Indianapolis in 2016.

Out of over 50 females, our girl took 6th place! We were hooked! Years later, we have continued to participate in shows throughout the country with our dogs and have started our own breeding program. More recently, we have begun to share our passion with families who love the West Show Line German Shepherds. When we first began, there were famous breeders who sold their puppies at crazy costs. Now that we have puppies, we give our families the opportunity to get a high-quality and healthy puppy at a more affordable price.

As a family, our dogs have helped us through unforeseen hardships, and have been a continuous source of love and support. We meticulously choose which dogs we plan to breed and make time to raise our great babies. Our goal as a small breeder is to share our love and dedication for this breed by providing great puppies that will protect, have a great temperament, be healthy, AND look beautiful.
